Except for a few no leader will be able to survive in the state BJP It has been the trend right from the days of United AP. Venkaiah Naidu, Dattatreya, Dr Lxman, Kishan Reddy were the leaders who were running the show for decades.
Even Ale Narendra who was popular as Tiger Narendra could not continue in BJP and then was forced to join the TRS. People like Parakala Prabhakar tried to do something but come into the mainstream in the state BJP.
It looks as if these so-called leaders have been happy in the opposition all the time and they never tried to come to power. Like the MIM leaders, the BJP leaders also hand in glove with the ruling party all the time.
They never strived to grow. They ditched each other and remained where they are. The centre was also responsible for the bad state of affairs. They always had a truck with the local leadership and the state BJP had no chance to grow individually.
But there were hopes that Bandi Sanjay would do something for the party in the state of Telangana. But right now the party is divided between Bandi Sanjay and some other leaders.
The way they went ahead and strikes a deal with TRS for a corporator shows it all. There is a talk that Bandi Sanjay will be replaced by Kishan Reddy the Union Minister of State for Home.
There is no proper leadership in the districts. Most of the time the BJP leaders from Telangana have been using media and claiming that they would come to power.
But coming to power has been a pipe dream all the time for the BJP. Now that Sharmila is starting the party, the BJP will be disappointed again.
