BJP leaders used to worship at Charminar Bhagyalaxmi temple before going for the campaign. But now Congress leaders are also visiting Bhagyalaxmi Temple in the name of Prayers for the well being of Sonia Gandhi.
Bhatti Vikramarka the Congress leader stated that Bhagyalaxmi Temple was for all and one must not brand it for the BJP people. Now some MIM leaders are demanding that they must be allowed to pray in Charminar as Hindus are being allowed to pray in the Temple at Charminar.
Some of them claimed that there was only a masjid in Charminar and that there was no Temple at all. There is a dispute over this matter. Earlier Union Home Minister Amit Shah also visited Bhagyalaxmi Temple.
TRS leader Kavitha also visited the Temple. Bhagyalaxmi Temple came into prominence ever since Bandi Sanjay took over as the BJP Chief. But it is very clear that religious politics and Temple politics are happening in the state of Telangana.
BJP and TRS have locked horns for the coming elections and it will be a final battle between them. Congress may not make much of a difference to other parties.
Right now the Temple politics are going on in Hyderabad for Telangana.
