Perhaps for the first time, the police on duty at the state of equality is very happy. The reason is that they are getting water and food on time. Usually, when they get duty on the outskirts, the food supplies become late and they are not tasty.
Here at Muchintal, the police are having a separate enclosure and they are feasting.
The pilgrims and the VVIPs are self-disciplined and the police do not much to do. They just have to see and watch the movement of the pilgrims and the public in general.
There is no stampede at the food counters also. Breakfast, snacks lunch and dinner is the arrangement here. The food is unlimited. Chefs from Guntur are doing the catering for about a lakh people on daily basis.
Sweet hot and everything on the menu. The menu changes on a daily basis. It is being done for fourteen days. Most of the preparations are done with Ghee and cow ghee is used for the Yagam.
Tonnes of Ghee is being stored here apart from the essential commodities. All in quintals is used for a day. Daily about fifty to sixty quintals of rice are being cooked apart from curries.
Cut Mirchi, Pongal, Papad, Odiyams, yellow rice, palak rice, jeera rice, curd rice, Sambar, rasam, pepper rasam, Pappu of different varieties, veg pulao and the menu changes on a daily basis.
