YSRTP Chief Sharmila and the sister of CM Jaganmohan Reddy was dragged from the Yashoda circle by the police with the help of a police towing van.
Sharmila wanted to go to the Pragathi Bhavan in her damaged car and talk to the CM over the injustice meted out to her when her caravan was torched yesterday by the TRS workers.
Perhaps this is the first time where a lady was in the driver’s seat and that too the sister of a CM and the daughter of a former CM were lifted and dragged on the road with a towing van.
The police were seen running with the car of Sharmila and the towing traffic van. She was seen in the driver’s seat with a plaster on her chin. While the netizens trolled police for dragging a lady with the car, police sight this as a law and order problem near Pragati Bhavan.

When Sharmila was in the car the police tried to open the doors with duplicate keys. She was in the car for more than two hours. She was arrested and taken to the SR Nagar police station.
Sharmila was unhappy with the way she was manhandled and said that dacoits were ruling the state. She was dragged out of the car with force and the lady police arrester here at the Sanjeva reddy Nagar Police station.
