Minister for IT KT Rama Rao is happy that the police command control towers are ready for the launch in Banjarahills. They are by the side of TRS Bhavan in front of the Jagannadh Temple.
Built at a cost of around 1000 crore the entire state is to be networked with the technology in these towers. It is built with High technology factor and we can see the entire state and key installations and office from this command control.
This would help in better monitoring of the law and order in the state and is almost complete and ready for the launch. It has towers for data centre, command control with a total built-up area of 6.2 square feet.
It will deliver police services at International standards. It has around one lakh CCTVs to be integrated into the centres across the state. It will act as one-stop-shop for all the police services pertaining to the law and order.
It was the brainchild of the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao along wiht the Present DGP Mahender Reddy. The DGP was the CM when the idea was mooted with the Chief Minister and he readily agreed for the same.
Now the Command control is one of its kind of centre across the state from where the law and order can be maintained. The entire is networked from this centre which is very prestigious to the Government of Telangana.
