The State level standing Committee of PMGSY (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana) met under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar IAS at BRKR Bhavan today.
The State Level standing Committee (SLSC) has given approval for 225 roads to an extent of 1412.98 kms with an estimated cost of Rs. 867.51 crores under PMGSY-III (batch-II). The proposals will be forwarded to the Government of India for sanction.
The works are funded on (60:40) share of Centre and State. The Committee also reviewed the progress of works under PMGSY.
