Anna Hazare the 81-year-old social activist who is on a hunger strike since last 3 days said that if anything happens to him the people will hold the Prime Minister Narendra Modi responsible. He is a satyagraha for appointing a Lokpal at the centre and Lokayuktas in the states. Hazare is of the opinion that by this the Prime Minister and also the Chief Ministers can be questioned. The people of the country can bring the PM and the CMs to book and make them accountable he opined.
This is for the sake of the people that he is on a hunger strike and has nothing in person against anyone. Hazare said that the Prime Minister failed in setting up the anti-corruption bodies. Even the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister can be investigated if there is right evidence Hazare said.
The Lokpal bill was passed in 2103 but the Government failed to appoint one he stated. I am trying to resolve the issues for the welfare of the people and not adding fuel to the fire he clarified. Hazare was in Hyderabad recently where he addressed the youth in a seminar organised by the TRS MP and Jagruthi chief K Kavitha. He wanted the youth to work for sustained development.
