PM Narendra Modi to unveil Alluri statue

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhimavaram and unveil a 30-feet statue of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju as part of the government’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Hero Chiranjeevi will also take part in the function it is reported. Kishan Reddy the Union Minister will accompany Modi to Bhimavaram

Modi who is staying in Rajbhvan will reach Begumpet Airport and then fly to Rajbhavan. CM Jagan will also take part in the function.

We have to see if the local MP Raghurama Raju will be allowed to take part in the function.

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the government was committed to giving due recognition to the contribution of freedom fighters.

As part of the endeavour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the year-long 125th birth anniversary celebration of the legendary freedom fighter, Alluri Sitarama Raju, in Bhimavaram. The Prime Minister will unveil a 30-ft bronze statue in Bhimavaram Park and address a public meeting.

The government has planned a series of initiatives for the year-long celebration. As part of this, the government approved the Alluri Dhyana Mandir building at Mogallu that will include Alluri Sitarama Raju’s monument in the Dhyana Mudra, depicting the life of freedom fighter through interactive systems powered by artificial intelligence (AI), and mural paintings.
