The image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a severe beating at the International level. He was praised for tackling the Corona very effectively in the first phase, but he lost all his image for not able to contain the second wave.
Modi was criticised for exporting the vaccine when the local people do not have the vaccine. The media has taken Modi left and right at the International level.
Now there is a talk that Modi could be replaced or the BJP might take a severe beating in the next elections from the people for not handling the Corona effectively.
To take care of the situation and to improve the image of Modi, the central Government has invited expression of interest from private firms for setting up an International channel like BBC.
Earlier DD has floated a channel by the name DD world, but later it was changed to DD India. Now there will be a Channel in the name of DD International.
This is to take care of the image of the Indian Government and also the Prime Minister at the International level.
