PM Modi visited the house of Karunanidhi and paid his last respects. There was a sea of humanity of people in front of karunanidhis house to see their beloved leader and pay their respects to the departed soul.
The PM Modi also spoke to his son Stalin and conveyed his heartfelt condolences.
Karunanidhi was not an MP but both the houses of parliament were adjourned for the day today after paying obituary to the DMK chief who passed away on Tuesday.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan informed members of the demise of Karunanidhi the DMK chief and described him as a visionary and an undisputed leader of the masses.
She narrated that he spread his political philosophy through screenwriting and produced some of the best hits in the Tamil cinema industry.
