The latest trend is that people are thinking against Modi the Prime Minister. Taking this into account Modi and the Party chief Amit Shah have called a meeting of the BJP chief Ministers to take stock of the present scenario. They want to know what is going wrong here in the states and why the development being done by the Governments is not reflecting positively on his image.

Earlier surveys indicated that the people are 90 per cent with Modi, but now it is just 50 per cent and less. The latest survey done by a financial expert Ruchir Sharma indicated that Modi graph is going down on day to day basis.

There is a lot of difference in the perception of people when compared to earlier times. There is a change in the thinking style of the people from 2014 to 2018. There was no alternative to Modi till recent times, but the demonetisation, GST and other things have forced people to think against Modi.

Uttar Pradesh is the key for the Success of BJP and if the BJP cannot make it here they will lose the next election. If the local parties come together and if the Dalits and Minorities unite against Modi, the NDA will lose the election. The combined opposition can trounce Modi easily and it might be from Uttar Pradesh. If Mayawati and Akhilesh can come together, the days are numbered for the Modi regime.

That is the reason Modi is looking at South, Especially Telangana as Andhra is already going against him. The Congress party and Chief Rahul Gandhi are ready to step down to trounce Modi. They did it in Karnataka and they are ready to repeat the same across the country.

United opposition can defeat Modi at any point in time, there is no doubt on this aspect.
