After demonetisation will it be prohibition across the country. It looks like the PM Narendra Modi is thinking of implementing Prohibition across the Nation which would benefit lot of families and lot of lives apart from preventing accidents.
The way the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech at Patna today praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar shows it all. He is pretty impressed and there is no doubt about it. He also said that the prohibition policy as an inspiration to all.
“Social change is very tough thing to forge, yet he has shown remarkable ability in implementing prohibition… if this policy is successful in Bihar, the whole country will be inspired,” said PM Modi at a public meeting to celebrate the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, revered by Sikhs, and born in Bihar.
It may be noted that earlier Nithish openly supported the demonetisation drive implemented by the PM and opposed by his own party members. Nitish said that as requested by the Pm 50 days should be given and if not taken care of he would also question the PM.
But as things stand it looks like the situation is somewhat better at the banks. The ATMs must get filled with small currency and that is another issue. But if things fall in line on monetisation front the next thing on agenda of the PM could be Prohibition and this will be to impress upon the women folk.
As of now the PM and his team are busy with the currency crisis and also the coming budget. Now the opposition is demanding that the budget cannot be presented just before the elections as the Government might openly declare the sops to influence the voters for the coming assembly elections in the 5 states.
