There is a waiting of around thirty hours for the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara at the hill shrine TTD. The pilgrims are in line for the last two days and they are not getting any food.
The water is being provided by the TTD but only a few are getting the food for the day. They are standing and walking for hours together for the Lord’s Darshan.
TTD EO Dharma Reddy has requested the Pilgrims not come to the TTD in this week. Dharma Reddy claimed that they are providing food and water to the Pilgrims.
But the Pilgrims say that they were waiting in line for more than ten hours and they could not get any food. The kids are also suffering in the lines.
The Q complexes are full and the pilgrims are overflowing in Temple city. It is better to go to the TTD after a week so that the rush comes down in a phased manner.
Some pilgrims who talked to the media said that the old systems were good. Many of them are complaining that the system under Subba Reddy has spoiled the TTD.
But people are happy that the Laddus are sold like sweets in open. One can take any number of laddus at the counters. Earlier it was restricted.
