A plane with 189 passengers on board is said to have sunk into the sea after crashing. It has crashed on the sea off Indonesia’s island of Java today morning it is reported.
The accident occurred shortly after the take off from the capital on its way to the country’s tin mining hub, officials said.
A spokesman of Indonesia’s search and rescue agency said that the Lion Air flight JT 6 10, lost contact 13 minutes after takeoff, adding that a tugboat leaving the capital has seen the Aircraft falling into the sea.
