The TRS corporator Vijaya Reddy the daughter of late P Janardhan Reddy today joined the Congress party under TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy. Vishnuwardhan Reddy the son of PJR is also planning to join the Congress party it is reported.
PJR is very popular in the Khiaratabad constituency and he was the CLP leader also. Now his daughter has joined the Congress from the TRS. PJR was a poor man’s leader who is still remembered in the party and also in the city.
Vijaya was aspiring for the MLA seat from TRS, but Nagendar is representing the constituency. Vishnu is nowhere. Now they are working for the Congress and they will contest as the MLAs in the coming elections.
Getting PJR children into the party is a good achievement for Revanth Reddy. Revanth is trying to get MP Vishweshwar Reddy also into the party, but he is looking at the BJP it is reported.
Vijaya was unhappy with the way things have been going on at the TRS party for a long time. She was neglected by the party it is learnt. Now she wants to join the Congress and contest as an MLA against Nagendar.
Her brother Vishnu is also planning to rejoin the party and contest as an MLA. He has earlier met Revanth Reddy in this regard.
