While Rajinikanth did not come for the pre-release function of Petta in Telugu states, Ashok Valabhaneni the producer of Telugu Petta complained to the Chief Minister that the producers who are holding theatres should be shot dead like Nayeem. The producers have turned into a mafia and are not allocating theatres for Petta he complained to the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. The CM of AP and Telangana must look into the issue he said.
The producer Ashok directly named Dilraju, Allu Aravind and UV creations owned by Prabhas relatives for blocking the theatres and not giving them for Petta.
He charged that these big producers were blocking the theatres and not giving to the producers like him.
Petta has been facing the issue of theatres from the beginning. Earlier also several small movie makers blamed the big producers and movie makers from Tollywood for blocking the theatres and not giving them a chance to release their movies.
NTR, Vinaya Vidheya Rama are the two big movies, and Petta is the movie in line for this Sankranthi. NTR and VVR have got the theatres and Petta is in trouble.
However, the market for the dubbing movies has come down in Telugu states and Rajinniknaths movies are not doing well like earlier times.
Initially, there was no demand for Petta. Later Ashok has come forward for the movie of Rajinikanth. Petta is also in the Sankranthi race.
