More of peoples participation is required for the development of Telangana said T Harish Rao the Minister for Finance. These days Harish is either see in a religious function or a welfare project in his constituency or somewhere in the state.
Today he has launched a huge water tank for one of the villages in his consistency Siddipet. He said KCR is just for the welfare of the people of Telangana. If they are happy KCR is also happy he opined.
He told the people in his constituency that Telangana has become a role model for the development. He said that the Government was giving 2-bed room houses wherever possible and was giving houses in the form of apartments also without taking a single rupee.
No other government is doing this he said. When it comes to water, new projects for irrigation were being completed on a war footing basis. Every household is being covered by the Bageeratha project.
But he suggested that people must come forward and participate in the process of development. You must not just wati for the government to do he said. The citizen should come forward and ask what is required for the development he suggested.
Mere waiting for the Government to do things is not right he pointed out.
