BJPs senior leader Atal Behari Vajpayee is dead this evening. He was 94.
Prayers by the people of all religions are going on for the recovery of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee. He is being treated at AIIMS. Prime Minister Modi, Vice President Venkaiah, CMs of the states Union Ministers have visited him.
It is reported from the Hospital sources he is on a ventilator and the infection was spreading to all other organs of the body.
Vajpayee the master orator has headed the Indian Government thrice and was the first man to head a nin Congress Government for a full term of years.
He was in power for 13 days and the other time for 13 months and never hesitated in giving away the power and never bothered for [power. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest statesmen that India has.
He is 93 years old. Humour is his forte and never minced words. He is now on a life support system and last 9 weeks he was being treated at the AIIMS.
