People must visit Holy places

Prime Minister Modi advised the people that they must visit Holy places and also educate children about the History of the country and also the Holy shrines.

He was addressing a gathering at Kedarnath after unveiling a statue of Adi Shankar near his Samadhi today. Modi said that the teachings of Adi Shankra are very much relevant today.

The PM gave harathi to the Shiv Linga here in the Temple while the priests chanted Vedic hymns.
Modi unbelieved key projects amounting to around Rs 130 crore here which would pave way for the better facilities for the pilgrims visiting Kedarnath.

This is the picture of Indias cultural and spiritual richness he stated. There is no greater fortune than to serve here at this holy shrine he said. He told the people that Ayodhya is now getting all its prominence.

PM said that he is unable to experience the divine experience. There will be more footfalls in the coming years to Char Dhams he opined. Uttarakhand must become a major tourist hub he suggested.

The PM looked different and young as he trimmed his long beard. The PM took stock of the infrastructure development here.
