Telangana people who are already bothered with the Power bills payments are now facing the increased fuel rates. The power consumer we’re served with double the power bills after the lockdown period of three months.
The Minister for Power Jagadish Reddy has advised the people to pay the excess power bills in instalments. Now the petrol rates have been hiked by Rs 4 per litre. Around 40 per cent of the population is suffering from no wages and unable to pay the rents. Now the power bills an also the file charges have become a big burden to the poor and the middle calls people across the districts of Telangana.
So far no worker has received any wagers after the lockdown. They might get the wages by next month if there is any work. Some of them have already crossed over from Telangana to there native states.
There is a scarcity of domestic servants in Hyderabad to some extent as they have gone to their native villages soon after the lockdown.
The IT people are working from home and the domestic work hs doubled for the ladies at him as the servants are not coming for work. The Government must look into the power bills and reduce it by at least 25 per cent so that they will be happy and start paying the bills.
There is a chance that the Lockdown might t be reimposed in Hyderabad again. If this becomes a reality then it will be more difficult for the consumers in paying he power bills. The rates of essential commodities are also going up in the state. The income levels have come down.
The employees have received part payment and not in full. Even the Government employees have received partial payments.
