Lagadapati Rajagopal the congress politician and former MP popular with Lanco group of companies is making his move again. He wants to come to lime light. The controversy with the Lanco buildings here continues as usual.

He quit politics after the bifurcation of United Andhra Pradesh. He was deadly against the division of the state and created ruckus in the parliament by spraying pepper spray where some MPs were hospitalized.
He seems to be making a comeback after a gap of few years. But, This time ruling TDP might be preferred by him instead of parent party Congress. His uncle P Upendra who was a central Minister and close to senior NTR was in TDP first and later shifted to other parties. But Rajgopal was with Congress and it is reported that now he is planning to make a move to the TDP.
He has an agency which predicts the outcome of elections by name Chanakya and the latest being that Chankaya gave correct predictions to the people on the outcome of UP. He purchased 100 acres of land with film producer Bandla Ganesh in UP with the help of Akhilesh the former CM and want to start popultry business it is reported. But since there is change in the Government it may not materialise..
It is reported that Lagadapati has convened a meeting with his followers. He indicated about his re-entry into politics during this meeting and the target is to contest 2019 Polls and mostly it could be from TDP. There were reports that he was also with Jagan for some time and tried to join the YSRC, but it did not happen. Jagan wants dummies and yes men and not active people like Lagadapati.
Lagadapati is keen to contest either from Guntur Lok Sabha constituency or Vijayawada Lok Sabha segment in 2019 Polls on TDP Ticket. Which means, One among the sitting MPs Galla Jaydev and Kesineni Nani will have to sacrifice their seat.
Galla is an obedient leader, while Kesineni is wavering man. It has to be seen who will remain with the TDP. Galla who is related to Mahesh Babu the hero may not shift to any other party. But the transport man might shift according to the situation.
