The TDP circles were busy with the talk that Nandamuri Kalyanram was all set to contest from Kukatpally as there are a large number of setters here. The same was suggested by the AP CMO to Kalyanram that he must get ready for Kukatpally. But Kalyan Rem after the death of his father was not interested in elections and is busy with the films.Now Peddi Reddy is eyeing for the seat and he is a TTD board member also. But Chandrababu wants someone from the Nandamuri family to contest from Telananga so that we can say Nandamuri family has some representation from Telangana.
It is reported that Suhasini the daughter of Harikrishna would contest from Kukatpally. This is due to the pressure from TDP higher-ups. If Suhasini says no then the seat would go to Peddi Reddy only as part of the Kutami representation. It has to be seen if Kalyan ram and Balakrishna who is looking into the family affairs of Harikrishan would approve of Suhasini candidature. But the latest os hat the settlers are also interested in electing the TRS government again as there has been a lot of development here under the TRS regime. The settler and the Andhra factor may not work here.
