Even after supporting the BJP for the Presidential election, the Telugu leaders are unable to garner much of the support from the PM Modi. They have to follow the procedure and stay formally with the PM. Giving support does not mean they can dictate terms to the BJP.
Chandrababu tried to show off but the PM Modi is a Baahubali and a heavy weight. Apart from his there are some issues by which Babu has to surrender to Modi. It is same with KCR also. Now every one knows Jagan the YSRC chief has so man cases against him and police can take on him especially the ED at any point of time.
Now taking all this into account the well wisher of the Telugu leaders Narsimhan the governor of both the states and the would be VP in waiting has worked out a formula so that all the three leaders would sit together and chalk out the issues so that they can be agreed upon by the BJP Government at the centre in no time.
If everything goes as planned, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, opposition party leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao are getting ready to sit on a meeting on some crucial issues with regard to the development of two states.
The meeting is likely to be held at Governor ESL Narasimhan’s official residence Raj Bhavan. The main issues to be discussed in the meeting will be Krishna river water sharing between AP and Telangana, division of assets between two states and pending payment of nearly Rs 2000 crore on energy consumption.
Governor Narasimhan has already held minister level meetings between two states on the issues. The next meeting is scheduled with chief ministers and opposition leaders of the two states.
Jagan from AP and Jana Reddy from Telangana will take part as opposition members as raise their contention on the particular issues. Governor is planning to hold meeting in August this year.
Lets hope this meeting becomes fruitful. On the other hand the AP and TS CMs have already met number of occasions where they have broad understanding on the issues. Now Jagan will have no other option but to say yes to the suggestions of the Governor. Even in Delhi both KCR and Babu together made several proposals to the PM and he readily agreed for some of them.
Both the Telugu states will be benefited in a big way after the election of the new President.
