As part of ongoing drive against habitual offenders who disturb public order, the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad has invoked PD Act against Vedanthan Aditya Bharadwaj as a “Sexual Offender” and detained him in Central Prison, Cherlapalli, Medchal district.
The detenu is a resident of Medchal-Malkajgiri District. He has indulged in acts of attempt to rape, stalking of women and recording of obscene videos of women and uploading them in porn websites.
His lascivious acts have created terror and panic among the public and posed serious threat to safety and security of women and children in the society.
Two Criminal cases were registered against him during the year 2021. He was arrested by Cyber Crime Police on 04.06.2021 and later released on bail.
With a view to prevent him from indulging in further criminal acts prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, Sri M. Stephen Raveendra I.P.S., Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad has invoked PD Act against him and lodged in Central Prison, Cherlapalli.
