No one can say no to media baron and Eenadu chief Ramoji Rao. In fact no politician can antogonise him for that matter. There are politicians who touch his feet and get mileage from Eenadu. Ramoji who has very strong hold in dictating politics at the state and national level behind the screen is also well known as “RAJA GURUVU”. He was given first row during the swearing in of Modi as PM. This was through Venkaiah Naidu the central Minister.
In 2014 election it was believed that Ramoji Rao was the anchor person in brokering the alliance between Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan, Babu, and Modi. People thought Jana sena would good support from Eenadu. But the real facts are different.
Ramoji and Pawan have been maintaining close relations from 2014 elections and the same thing is visible by media coverage from Eenadu group owned by Ramoji for functions and political meeting attended by Janasena supremo in the last two years. Pawan presence in functions of ETV group and seen seating beside Ramoji and having a private chat with media mogul has raised the eyebrows of many political analysts.
But a recent incident has given scope for widening the gap between Pawan and Ramoji . The pre-release function of Pawan’s movie was attended by NTV chief and TV9 CEO who praised Pawan .Pawan was overwhelmed with this.
Political pundits now believe the recent developments are due to the fact that Pawan is going for solo battle in 2019 and since Eenadu supports TDP, Pawan is making serious efforts to allign with TV9 and NTV it is reported.
