Passport office celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

To commemorate the glorious 75 years of India’s Independence and the journey of Passport and related services in India, the Regional Passport Officer, Hyderabad is celebrating MEA ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ week from 21st to 27th of February 2022 under the aegis of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

The celebrations include a series of commemorative events and activities which are being organized by this office is in association with other MEA offices which include Branch Secretariat, Hyderabad, Protector of Emigrants and Indian Council for Cultural Relations.

The MEA AKAM Week- 2022 was inaugurated with the Tricolour Balloon Release Event. A Photo exhibition on Telugu Freedom Fighters has also been organized in association with Regional Outreach Bureau, Hyderabad, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India.

The Photo exhibition was inaugurated by Ribbon Cutting and Lighting of the Lamp by Shri I. B. Lenka, RPO (In-Charge) and S. Venkateswar, DG (South), Regional Outreach Bureau, PIB at 11:00 am on 21st January, 2022 at Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad premises in the august presence of Shri S. G. Ravindra, Additional DG, PIB, Smt. Shruti Patil, Director, ROB and PIB, Telangana State, Shri Vikram Singh, US, Branch Secretariat and Shri Mukesh Kaushik, PoE.
