Sai Sansthan Trust is on an agitation path it is reported. The Maharashtra Government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 100 crore for Pathri Sai Temple stating that it is the birthplace of Sai.
There are pilgrims who are saying that the importance of the Shirdi Sai Temple would be coming down. The former Chief Minister Fadnavis has given funds for Shirdi Sai Temple development while the Present CM Uddhav has given 100 crores to Pathri Sai Temple.
This is raking up controversy as to which is the real birthplace of Sai. Some are saying that there was nothing wrong if Pathri SaiTemple was being developed.
Let them develop all the Sai Temple some of them opined. Both Janmaboomi and karma Bhoomi are equally important some of the pilgrims opined. It may be noted that after TTD, Shirdi is the biggest grocer in terms of donations and collections.
Sai Sathcheritha has not given anything about the Sai parents or his birthplace. Some others say he is a Sufi saint and Hindus worshipped him. His preachings are important and not his birthplace people said.
