As expected Parrikar the new CM of Goa has won the trust vote. Digivijay singh the senior congress leader earlier said that Parrikar will lose the trust vote.

12.22pm: BJP wins trust vote in the Goa assembly with the support of 23 MLAs. NCP MLA also supports them.

12.00pm: Congress’ Ravi Naik walks to the well of the house to take oath, asks Parrikar with an indication of the hand whether everything is fine.

Sudin Dhavalikar of the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) takes oath. Goa Forward’s Vijai Sardesai is also sworn in.

11.30am: Dayanand Sopte of the Congress party who registered a record win against Laxmikant Parsekar in Mandrem constituency sworn in first.

10.30am: “The Congress has over-invested in Luizinho Faleiro. The defeat of Congress in Goa is because of him,” says Vijai Sardesai of the Goa Forward Party, which pledged support to the BJP.
