Chairman for Higher Education Council Papireddy today launched the T News Apex -Telanganas Golden Education Fair 2019 today at the Nizam College Grounds, by lighting the lamp here along with T News CEO Narayan Reddy, input Editor Suresh and CGM N Upendar. The Education Fair will be held for 3 days.
Papireddy said that by May Eamcet results should have been announced. But due to the issues with the Inter Board, the results are getting delayed he said. In a couple of days, we might get the Eamcet results he said. Revised ranks have to be given as per the reverified marks Papi Reddy said. Saying that there are a lot of opportunities in Engineering, he suggested that the option of the course should be left to the students by the parents. Dont force the child on the college and the course he said.
Putting pressure on the student is not good he said. Getting a seat in a good college is not the end of the matter he said. The child has to be monitored by the parents from time to time and see that he completes the course with good marks and merit. The parents should be in touch with the management of the college apart from the faculty to monitor the child from time to time he suggested.
The educationists who spoke at the meet suggested that the choice of the course should be left to the students and that the parents should not force them.
A large number of students and parents were seen at the venue taking suggestions from the Colleges staff.
