It looks like the war will be one side for Palla Rajeshwar Reddy. Along with the By- Election in Nagarjunasagar, the TRS is looking at the MLC elections also.
The local political leaders and people from all walks of life believe that the ruling TRS candidate and incumbent MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy enjoys a clear edge over the others in the contest.
Some Ministers are of the opinion that Palla Rajeshwar, who is the Rythu Bandhu Samithi State president, will win the seat again. Being an educationist, Rajeshwar Reddy will get the support of graduate voters.
Apart from the welfare schemes and developmental works taken up by the TRS government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will pave way for his winning the election.
Rajeshwar Reddy will get re-elected as the votes would get divided among the Opposition party candidates. The Congress,BJP and Left parties are contesting the election.
Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) founder and TJAC leader Prof M Kodandaram, journalists Rani Rudrama Devi and Teenmar Mallanna have already started their campaign.
When compared to TRS, the other candidates are lagging in the campaign. Majority of the Assembly constituencies are with TRS and it should be easy going for Rajeshwar Reddy.
