Despite teh threat of COVID 19, the Pakistan Government was forced to keep the mosques open. The Indian Government has already closed the masjids here and there are no group prayers. The Government here is also keeping a close watch on the Masjids and also the worshippers.

However, the Ramzan prayers and fasting has begun from today here in India.

Yesterday evening the moon was sighted by the clerics and they announced that the Ramzan Mahina begins from today. perhaps this is the first time that the Masjids are closed and that the Muslims are forced to stay home an pray during g this religious month.

Even the essentials commodities and fruits supply is less when compared to last year. The Corona has forced the people to remain at home and eat whatever they have.

In Pakistan, the Muslim clerics have defied the orders suggested by the Pak government and they have decided to congregate at the masjids for Prayers which they have done today.

It has to be seen if the COVID spreads in Pakistan. The Saudi Government on the other hand has lifted the lockdown in some areas. People are allowed to move freely with some distance.

The worshippers here are happy for the Ramzan.
