Padmavati cleared in Britain

Padmavati has been cleared by Britain and received the United Kingdom’s censor certificate . The British Board of Film Classification posted a copy of the certificate on their official Twitter handle.

Padmavati has been described as “a Hindi language epic drama in which a Sultan leads an invasion to capture a Rajput Queen,” in the certificate, which also mentions that the film has been passed without any cuts whatsoever.

Although BBFC mentions in its certificate that Padmavati will release in the UK on December 1, producers of the film, Viacom 18, have clarified that the film will release in India first – before it hits the screens in any other country.
