BalkaSuman the MLA almost moved to tears today while he was talking about Padma Rao the Deputy speaker of the Telangana Assembly. Balka Suman praised Padma Rao in every manner and also recalled that the deputy speaker was instrumental in getting him married to a lady of Gowda community.
Balka remembered that he was in love with a lady from Gowda community but her parents were not ready to give the girl to him as he was a poor man then, with a student leader background and nothing more to his credit except the Telangana agitation.
Suman said that it was Padma Rao who went to the parents of his wife talked to them for a few hours and convinced them for the marriage with great difficulty. The wife of Suman was working in a TV channel and he fell in love with her.
When the parents of the lady did not agree for the marriage, it was Padma Rao who assured them that Balka would one day become an MLA and that they will have a bright future. Later Suman became the MP and now the MLA.
Suman also reminded that it was Padma Rao who took care of thee students from OU when they came for the Telangana agitation. he said that the food , the hideout and the police cases were handled by Padma Rao during the agitation time.
He took care of them very well and had no issues at all. Suman thanked the deputy speaker as an MLA and also on a personal basis. Suman told that Padma Rao was his role model and wanted to be like him who was loved by one and all from across all the political parties.
