A group f farmers today have brought the paddy grain in a tractor trolley and dumped it in front of the Nizamabad house of BJP Dharampuri Aravind.
They were protesting the partisan attitude of the central Government over the procurement of paddy from the state of Telangana. The farmers surrounded the house and shouted the slogans against the MP Aravind.
There was tension at his house as farmers came to his house from all directions. Aravind could not fulfil the promise of getting the Turmeric board to Nizamabada as promised earlier.
He has assured the farmers to this extent by writing a bond paper. So far the Turmeric board was not set up in Nizamabad. They gave slogans against the PM Modi also here and demanded to procure the grains from Telangana.
The TRS is demanding the policy of one Nation one procurement policy. CM KCR staged a dharna in Delhi Yesterday. The BJPp staged a Dharna in Hyderabad here at Indira Park yesterday.
The central Government clarified that it is for the state to purchase the paddy and the centre would buy the rice later.
