MIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi raised his voice against the visit and speech of former President Pranab Mukherjee to the RSS office. He also found fault with the Senior congressman for making Hedgerwar a great son of the soil. Is this secularism Owiaisi questioned?
He also found fault with the Congress party for not stopping Pranab Mukherjee from going to the RSS office. Encouraging RSS cadres and enthusing them with speeches goes against secularism he opined. If the Congress claims itself as a secular party, they must explain about the speech of Pranab Mukherjee he demanded.
Owaisi is the first person to question Congress party over the issue. He took serious objection to it. There are many who are opposed to it, but they did not dare to question or point it out.
People who are against RSS are offended over the way Pranabda has praised Hedgewar at the memorial. It is nothing but praising the BJP they opined. The BJP people are very happy with the speech of Pranab at the RSS headquarters.
He charged that the BJP and Congress are the two faces of the same coin, and wanted people to support the alternative front of regional parties.
He lashed out at Modi and said 350 Muslims were killed in the NDA regime. He said that comparing Muslims with Jinnah shows their hatred towards Muslims.
Meanwhile, Owaisi advised the youth to spend most of their time in Ramzan prayers. He advised them not to bother about other things during the holy period of Ramzan.
