BJP has been winning elections by the division of Mulsim vote by MIM led by Asaduddin Owaisi. This time the Muslims are with Akhilesh in UP and the MIM factor may not work for BJP this time according to the Poll surveys.
The situation is changing and tilting for the Akhilesh it looks like as things stand. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said: “The attack seemed political and pre-planned.
Whoever is behind the attack has some motive. He did not want Owaisi to die, but to send a message to a particular community,”.
“If the BJP don’t choose the path of dishonesty, their government will fall. This is how they turned the situation in their favour in Bihar as well,” he added.
Earlier Mamata Banerjee the West Bengal CM also charged that Owaisi the MIM chief was working for the BJP to divide the votes. That was the reason he was contesting the elections in a big way. MIM is contesting around a hundred seats in UP this time.
As the people were not looking at Owaisi and MIM this time, the firing episode was planned to gain sympathy. That is the reason the gunmen fired at the tyres and bottom line of his car.
No bullet was aimed at Owaisi body the analysts say.
