After Baahubali Prabhas from Tollywood became an international figure. Popular filmmaker Bhansali wanted Prabahs to be the king in place Shahid Kapoor for Padmavat. But seeing the scope of the character Prabhas turned it down. But Shahid did well with his short figure and stature. If it was Prabhas it would have been massive and well matched with Ranveer Kapoor.
Ranveer would have become small before Prabhas. Many of them thought that Shahid’s character should have a big personality. But Shahid also earned a good name with his performance and the way he fought with Ranveer. If it was between Ranveer and Prabhas they would have broken more records. But it is reported that Deepika had the character of larger than life image and better than that of the king in this movie Padmavat.
But the film also had a lot of controversies. They had to clear all those problems and then go for screening. Prabhas would have been more popular if he had taken up Padmavat.
