Osmania University (OU) got A plus grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). A peer team from the NAAC has earlier visited the university and recommended for this certification.
The team which consists of experts constituted by the NAAC had visited departments in the university colleges.
They interacted with students and faculty independently to take their feedback, besides the team took facilities like health centre and sports grounds, research publications, laboratories, number of PhDs awarded, among others, into consideration before giving a grade.
“OU varsity has been putting all arrangements in place before the expert’s team visit. They aimed for A++ grade,” but got A plus which is commendable.
