Nitish Kumar is campaigning all out against the BJP it looks like. Setting the tone to the agenda of KCR the CM of Telangana, Nitish sounded the bugle for the unity of the Opposition.
“If all the opposition parties fight together, the BJP will be bundled out for about 50 seats. I am devoting myself to that drive Abhiyan”, said Nitish Kumar at a meeting of his party JD(U)’s National executive in Patna.
The JD(U) leader’s statement comes ahead of his two-day trip to Delhi on September 5, during which he will meet political leaders from across party lines in a bid to forge Opposition unity.
Nitish downplayed buzz that he may emerge as the prime ministerial face and asserted that his only goal is to work for uniting the Opposition to unseat the BJP from power.
When the media asked if Nitish would be the PM, KCR in a press meet said that it would be decided after meeting with all the parties concerned. KCR might be nurturing the ambition of becoming the PM.
But the reality is different. As stated by Prashant Kishore the poll strategist earlier, the BJP is mighty and it is very hard to fight them.
The Congress is in shambles and Ghulam Nabhi Azad made the biggest dent in the party.
