The BJP is planning to flex its muscles in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The first step taken by the BJP in Andhra Pradesh was to see that the TDP does not win the election and they succeeded in that. Now the next step is to take all the key TDP leaders into the party in a phased manner. BJP leader Ram Madhav is already negotiating with the top leaders of the TDP who have lost the elections. Prime Minister Modi who would be coming to Tirupathi on 9th might address a small meeting here in AP as he did in Kerala. That is the beginning of the campaigning in the Telugu states for the coming 2024 elections.
Kishan Reddy the Union Minister of state for home has already announced that they will unfurl the BJP flag on Golconda, that is the beginning of the campaign here in Telangana. Kishan Reddy could be projected as the face of Telangana for the next election and they would project the party as the only alternative to the TRS. The Congress party is already in shambles and it will take a lot of time for the party to win back the confidence of the people.
The idea of taking out a procession yesterday with all Hungama in the city of Hyderabad was to announce BJP as an alternative to the TRS here in Telangana. The first test before the BJP is to win some seats in the coming Municipal elections.The TRS cadres are enthusiastic with the recent results and it is not easy for the BJP to win the Municipal elections.
