The work culture must change said some financial experts and businessmen at the recently concluded Davos business meet.
IT people have 5 working days. In foreign countries people have weekends. The employees just wait for the weekends and holidays to relieve themselves from stress.
Out of 7 days usually, one day is given as off. But the latest thinking among the workers and businessmen is that there should be just 4 working days in a week so that the workers get rejuvenated and that the quantum of work will go up.
There was a discussion in a seminar at Davos that the work culture should be developed in such a fashion that the employee gives more in the 4 days work that he would be doing in a week of 7 days. 4 days work and 3 days off could be the new system according to the experts. The idea is to keep the people more happy and healthy so that they would work for more number of years.
Some financial experts agreed with this and some of them deferred. Some others suggested that like IT people all must have 5 working days only in a week. But these are the days where people would make you work all the days and get maximum out of you.
A paper to this extent has been submitted at Davos meet. Let’s hope it will be a reality where you work for 16 days in a month and get the salary.
