Dharani portal, the first of its kind one-stop solution for land related issues introduced by the government has successfully completed two years. Today marks the completion of second year of commencement of registrations in Dharani portal. Registrations on the Dharani portal started on November 2nd 2020.
Dharani is a trendsetter in Land Administration and a farmer friendly initiative. Dharani offers discretion-free and citizen-friendly registration and mutation services. Earlier citizen had to go to SRO offices, which are located in 141 locations, for registration of land . With Dharani, Registration has been brought closer to the doorstep of the people and now it can be done in 574 Mandal headquarters.
After registration, people had to move from pillar to post for mutation of their land in revenue records. Now Mutation is done instantaneously and e-Pattadar pass books are sent within seconds by SMS to the citizens and physical pattadar pass books with 18 security features are delivered by post within a week.
Till date Dharani portal has witnessed 9.16 crore hits.More than 26 lakh transactions have been completed till date. The number of agricultural transactions are increasing with every passing day. Dharani has also solved long pending Problems. About 2.97 lakh cases, where registrations were done years back but mutations not done, have been solved using this platform.
