Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan clarified that the Ration cardholders can use the cards anywhere across the country for taking the ration. The old cards are valid and they can be used anywhere he said.
First, it was in the state of Telangana that the Government has clarified that the Ration card holders can draw the ration across the state. Now the Union Minister has said that it is an era of One Nation and one Ration card.
The number of the card will be valid across the country and poor people migrating from one place to the other for livelihood can get the ration anywhere from June one 2020 onwards.
This is a good development and people get rice and other things across the nation. There is no need to change the ration card and that the old one stands good.
