One more Cine studio for Hyderabad

Jagan the AP CM, KCR the Telangana CM and Chiranjeevi the megastar have been invited to the opening of the new Allu studios here in Hyderabad at Gandipet.
This studio will be another feather in the cap of the global city of Hyderabad.

a.Ramanaidu Studios, founded by Daggubati Ramanaidu in 1964, is one of the largest ones in the city.
b. Annapurna Studios was founded by Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) in 1975.

It was named after Nageswara Rao’s wife Annapurna. The 22-acre studio sees several films being shot there and is also the current location for the sets of Bigg Boss Telugu season 4.

c.Ramakrishna studios are in Nacharam and is owned by the Nandamuri family members. Popular films of NTR like Brahmarushi Vishwamitra were shot here. Some political meetings of the NTR regime also took place here.

d.Ramoji Film City on the outskirts of Hyderabad was established by media baron Ramoji Rao in the year 1996 and is a popular tourist attraction in Hyderabad. The shooting for Baahubali was done there.

Annapurna Studios is a state-of-the-art studio facility spanning over 22 acres, in the heart of Hyderabad City. Established by Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the year 1975, Annapurna Studios even today undergoes a change to cater to the growing needs of cinema.

It is the one-stop shop where a filmmaker can walk into the studio with a script and walk out with a film! e.Padmalaya studios is owned by super star Krishna and belong to Mahesh Babu family members. The popular film Simhasanam was shot here at the studios in Hyderabad.

f.When comes to Allu studios it is named after Padma Shri recipient, Dr Allu Rama Lingaiah the grandfather of Allu Arjun, who was born in 1921 and starred in over a thousand films, mostly doing comic roles. His performances in films like the cult hit Maya Bazaar are still recalled fondly by fans.

His son, Allu Aravind, founded a production company, Geetha Arts, in 1972. Ramalingaiah’s daughter, Surekha, is married to Chiranjeevi, one of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars.
