Numaish in Nampally is set to entertain the people of the twin cities from today. The 82nd All-India Industrial Exhibition, popularly known as Numaish is all set to start today for the new year at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally.
Massive arrangements have been made to ensure the annual exhibition is conducted in a safe and pleasant environment, members of the Exhibition Society said .
Apart from stalls with items, clothes, food, and entertainment some stalls are being arranged for creating awareness. The state Government is also setting up stalls for all the departments.
New machines and new technology stalls are also in the exhibition. Children’s day and women’s day will also be observed for the exhibition.
This year’s Numaish will have a special focus on women’s empowerment. To display the works of women entrepreneurs, the Exhibition Society has collaborated with DWCRA (Development of Women and children in Rural Areas), Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) and similar organizations, in allocating the stalls.
