NTR has created history by erasing several non-RRR opening day records in India and overseas destinations. The film ended up grossing close to $3.40 million in North America on its opening day.
Devara collected a sensational Rs 54.21 crore share (excl GST) in the Andhra, Nizam, and Ceded regions on day one. This is a historic opening and is next only to Rajamouli’s RRR, also starring NTR. On the other hand, Devara’s Hindi version collected over Rs 7.50 crore across the country.
Dil Raju the Nizam producer is a happy man. The presence of Jr NTR has made all the difference to the openings of the movie he said. Around two hundred crore has been collected for the two days and the advance bookings are also very good.
NTR fans are having a great time in the theatres. But some theatres are facing ruckus from the fans and they are going in without having tickets. The crowds are uncontrollable at the theatres.
The Movie is in more than 7000 theatres they say.
