NTR name is like a mantra in AP and also for the Telugu people. He is the one who thought about the poor and brought in this Rs2 kilo rice at ration shops. His name is like remembering the god and people still give votes to the TDP in the name of NTR.
That is exactly the reason, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Lokesh thought about making a film on NTR. This will be for reminding the people about NTR and also the TDP and what he did for the public and what is being done for the public.
But now the TDP has received a jolt from the YSRC, ever since the political strategist was seen with Jagan on the stage. With the entry Prashant Kishor into the arena to help YSR Congress party for the next elections, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is working out the counter-strategies.
The announcement of Padayatra has also come as a surprise and it will definitely fetch some votes to the YSRC. Apparently realising that he would be on the losing side, if he allows YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to take up padayatra , the chief minister has come out with a plan to aggressively take up the publicity to promote his government’s achievements.
Naidu has decided to launch “Inti Intiki Telugu Desam” (TDP to every doorstep) campaign from September 17 in order to highlight the TDP governance in the last three years.
Naidu advised the party leaders and Ministers in the party coordination committee meeting to make the public aware of the developmental works and welfare schemes taken up by TDP government.
On the other hand Balaiah has been advised to make the film at the earliest possible so that it can help the TDP in the long run. It is learnt that Balaiahs son Moksh could get the role of young NTR.
With a combination of NTR movie and other publicity, TDP wants to take on YSRC. They might use Jayasudha the film star who has joined the TDP recently for the campaign.
