Will Junior NTR come back into the TDP fold. There are indications of that kind. He may campaign in the coming elections. The other day during the swearing in ceremony, Harikrishna and Kalyanram were seen, but NTR was missing. NTR is a good campaigner like his grand father senior NTR. But he is missing these days in the Babu fold.
It is reported that Babu is striking a chord with the Harikrishna first and then he wold lure in NTR. May be he will be given a party post first and then will be taken into the campaign mode. Since Lokesh has been elevated, Babu is thinking of giving some importance to NTR so that he will not join other camps.
The MLAs and Ministers have entered the election mode and they are gearing up for the next elections. Nara family holds the grip on Telugu Desam Party since decades & it’s a undeniable fact. After the death of big NTR it is all Babu who called the shots and is in control of the party.
Till the late 90s, even Nandamuri Babus made their presence felt in the party in some way or the other. After a point, they were completely sidelined by Chandrababu Naidu. It’s only after the defeat in 2004, Naidu began giving some importance to Nandamuri family again and Harikrishna was made Rajya Sabha MP for a term.
Chandrababu Naidu kept sidelining Nandamuri family once Harikrishna opposed the growing importance for Lokesh in the party at Mahanadu. Even Harikrishna & his sons stayed away from poll campaign in 2014 Polls after the fallout. Post the victory of TDP in last election, Nandamuri trio were made to sit among the people during the swearing-in ceremony.
The same scene repeated during the latest oath taking ceremony. While Nara Lokesh took the oath as Minister, Nandamuri Family members were seen sitting among people. What qualification does Lokesh have other than being CM’s Son to be a Minister?
Even Balakrishna wasn’t given priority. Harikrishna’s appeal seeking Rajya Sabha seat was ignored completely. Despite this humiliation, how did Nandamuri heroes have a smile on their faces is the real question? But Babu a shrewd politician is trying to bring Nara and Nandamuri family members together again for a victory in the state of AP.
