Chalapathi Rao the close friend of the late NTR who acted almost in all the films has died due to ill health at the age of 78. Chalapathi was a character actor, villain, and also producer of small films.
He was also close to director EVV Satyanarayana and they did many comedy films together. Chalapathi is also close to the family of Suresh Babu the owner of Ramanaidu studios.
The last rites of Chalapati will be done in Hyderabad on Wednesday as his daughters are coming from the states. Chalapathi Rao has acted in many movies of Allari Naresh.
He acted with NTR in all the mythological movies and has done five roles in a movie like NTR. His son Ravi Babu is a director and actor. Chalapathi has acted with heroes of three generations.
Chalapathi produced seven films.
Mega-producer Suresh Babu has already visited the house of Chalapathi and consoled his family members. Chalapathi was close to late Ramanaidu the father of Suresh Babu.
