NTRs rail is on tracks. His movies Temper, Nannaku Prematho along with Janata Garage have brought him back into the lime light. Janatha Garage have put him ahead of others. The year 2016 has been a good one for NTR, after his two back-to-back hits. The actor was looking for a big break in Telugu cinema, and is now relieved as his Janata Garage is at the third position in the list of all-time top Telugu films.He was seen weeping with joy in one of the success meets here in Hyderabad.
The unassuming NTR beats all the mega actors like Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, with Janata Garage which stands third after S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali and Mahesh Babu starrer Srimanthudu.
Despite bad reviews, the film has done remarkably well in most centers at the box-office. A reason for the film’s hefty collections could be the lack of competition at the time of its release. Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Mythri Movies, the film has grossed even more than the Pawan Kalyan starrer Atharintiki Daredi.
Now NTR wants to be very cautious while taking another step forward. Earlier he was planning to do a movie with Vakkantham Vamsi his friend who is good writer. After Temper NTR promised Vamsi that he would do a movie under his direction. But with great response and collections to Garage, NTR cannot take the risk of promoting a new director and cannot take a failure in the process at this juncture.
Now NTR wants to give Puri Jagannath the ace crafts man another chance after Temper. In fact Temper made to make a come back like never before. It is not so easy for the directors to make a movie with NTR. He has got half a dozen directors lined up for the dates. But he is wighing the pros and cons of these directors before signing up with them.
For now the dates are with Puri and Puri may complete the movie in 2 to 3 months time it is learnt.
